I’m Mohamed Al-Henawy (Henawy), a Visual Effects Artist. I love creating natural, supernatural, and stylized simulations that bring to life what can’t be captured on set. I currently work at Information Technology Institute (ITI) as an FX Track Supervisor and Instructor, supporting and guiding students on their journey into the world of visual effects.

Since graduating in 2019, I’ve contributed to a variety of cinematic and TV projects. I enjoy tackling technical challenges, experimenting with creative techniques, and exploring how visual effects can push storytelling to new dimensions.

I have a wide range of interests outside of VFX, including video shooting, montage, photography, design, 3D printing, fixing things (I break a lot of stuff—haha!), websites and WordPress, teaching, and gardening.

I’d describe myself as simple, straightforward, and spontaneous. I believe life is simple—we just need to stop worrying, appreciate what we have, and move joyfully toward what’s coming while helping others. When you help someone, you’re actually helping yourself first.
